Big Adventure

It's been over a week since we returned from a wonderful trip to India. We were invited to a wedding so the opportunity for a tour was too good to miss. It's been a busy week since with numerous trips to the airport picking up and dropping off, plus a strange and unpleasant illness which I should not blame on India!

The photos were all taken in the region of  Rajasthan, where the history, the architecture and the Art are amazing.

New Camera

Bought a new camera this weekend so we can take some great pics on our big trip.  Practicing in the garden I was amazed by the sharp colours on this photo of an Acanthus flower.

Creating again!

It's awhile since I last posted anything, it's been a busy month with a trip to the UK to see family and friends. We had a great time even though we didn't stay too long. We are off again in a couple of weeks for a trip of a lifetime which I'll blog about when I return. Anyway I have been trying to create new work this week. My crimson Rosella is a watercolour in progress ( the wing feathers are not quite right yet).

Fitzroy Island

A trip up to tropical Cairns was a great long weekend break. We spent a couple of days in the beautiful Daintree Rainforest and then a full day on Fitzroy Island, it was a bit of a shock to return to chilly Melbourne!
