Beautiful Italy!

I have been very slow recently with blog posts as I have been on a fantastic holiday of a lifetime to Italy visiting Florence, Sienna Rome and Sorrento. Came back to Australia for a few days then off on a family holiday to beautiful Mission beach in tropical Queensland. It was great to relax but now it's back to work!

Surface pattern Design

It's a new venture for me but I'm enjoying designing patterns for textiles, wallpaper and decals. I have a lot to learn but it's an exciting journey. Take a look at my small shop on Spoonflower, hopefully I can add to the designs for sale in the coming months.Spoonfower is based in North Carolina and they ship all over the world for a reasonable price.

New Year, new work!

It's been a stressful two months with a personal crisis, but at last I've managed to put some new work in my shop. Painting feathers is very relaxing!

Winter in Melbourne

The Yellow Tailed Cockatoos are back in our garden, about twenty birds in the Banksias eating the seeds of the flowers. The bushes have been severely pruned!

Lindisfarne

Back home to the UK to see the family and a special trip to Lindisfarne. A place I haven't been to for years, but always close to my heart. The sense of history, spectacular scenery and the spiritual feel makes this small island very special.
