We love to cultivate our own vegs but sometimes those pests are a nuisance. This was a quick watercolor sketch  finished in photoshop.

Our friends have returned!

Each summer the Eastern and Crimson Rosellas spend much of their time checking out the Crab Apples on our tree to see if they are ready to eat. Today I think the apples are ready, even though they look very green! I really enjoy watching the birds using their claws to hold the fruit.

A couple of photos of beautiful gates, the first was taken a few years ago in the Dandenong ranges. The second was taken last year in Silves Portugal.

Happy New Year!

The weather is heating up. Yesterday we decided to have an impromptu picnic and swim on the beach in the evening, in the hope that we could catch the sea breeze. This was our first picnic in 2011 and hopefully there will be many more. The photos were taken just before the sun went down, it seems that everybody else in our small town had the same idea about cooling off.

IF Phenomenon

The moon has always been a phenomenon. Mysteries, unexplained accidents and of course romance. This little seagull is hitching a ride by the light of the moon.

Workshop with Andrea Innocent
